In the world of boxing, some rivalries are bigger than an individual boxer’s career. It takes the next generation to settle who is the better fighter. In a parallel circumstance, the sons of Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn were supposed to fight each other back in October 2022. Eddie Hearn all but confirms the Eubank Jr. vs. Conor bout
Conor’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, hinted at the potential fight coming to fruition. After Conor’s drug-related mishap that canceled the October fight, Hearn hopes things work out for the fight in December. According to an article from Boxing Scene, Hearn said Conor is in the clear to fight anywhere because he won the case.
It’s important to note that UKAD and the British Boxing Board of Control have appealed the decision, but that’s not until later this year. Unless any new updates from the authorities come through, Conor is free to fight in the UK and America. Hearn believes the fight will bring in a lot of money because of the initial drug-related controversy.
