As the episode progressed, Mike Tyson and Jones went on to discuss what goes through the mind of a comedian when they don’t make it big. The guest went on to add that she knows so many good comics, but ‘hate’ has made them their own cancer. “Like you say how I see other people making it and you think you should make it well. Some people ain’t healthy about that, some people become real fu*ked up people, and it’s unfortunate. It becomes bitter,” she added.

The two even talked about how such people treat their family and friends poorly, which even has an impact on their performance on stage. “That guy, by the time he gets evil he has quit by then,” Tyson stated.

Even the former boxing champion has gone through difficult phases in his life and has worked hard to leave his past behind and become the evolved and better person he is today. His face clearly showed that he was melancholic during the conversation and was deeply immersed in the topic.

Leslie further stated that the sadness leads to ceasing a person’s growth, and he is too scared to move forward. She explained that growth will happen whether you want it or not, “And it’s going to be painful or not, but it’s gonna happen. Because then you start like, it’s like stagnant water. Like when you put something in front of water and it stays, it holds and stuff. That’s the flow of life also, you can’t put walls up in front of your water. You know what I’m saying. It’s just like you gonna fu*k it, you are gonna grow or you gonna hold out and die, straight up.”
