It’s wishful thinking to come across a boxing fan who the Rocky movies haven’t inspired. The classic saga of an underdog chasing his dreams through Himalayan odds strikes a chord with almost everyone. But, while the film and its series gave enduring fame to Sylvester Stallone, his younger brother Frank Stallone opted for a different track, the world of music. Born in Maryland on July 30, 1950, he achieved musical heights with the song Far From Over from the 1983 John Travolta starter Staying Alive. The song brought widespread accolades and stood tenth on the US Billboard Hot 100.
During his later years, he acted in a few movies, besides appearing in reality shows and a stint as NBC’s boxing consultant. The Grammy and Golden Globe nominee reportedly still loves performing live. He is equally active on social media; he has over 200k followers on Instagram! Roughly a month ago, fans found him paying tribute to the boxing great Marvellous Marvin Hagler. Recently, Frank Stallone shared a short clip of his 70th birthday celebrations. He is surrounded by Sylvester Stallone, his wife Jennifer Flavin, their daughters, and other family members and friends.

Frank Stallone messaged, “This was a landmark birthday, July 30, 2020, when I turned 70 which is hard to conceive since I feel 90, lol. Not a kid anymore, nothings cute, no more well he’s just young; he’s learning. No, your old Jack! But you make the best of it. My mind is young, I learn new stuff every day, I have a great family I am blessed. Don’t get old. Get going!” The ensuing reactions ranged from well-meaning wishes to confusion and even grievance!
Fans sing along a Happy Birthday to Frank Stallone
@savinghollywood was among the first to wish the actor-musician, “Happy birthday, mate, let’s go celebrate!!!”
Frank Stallone’s message seems to have confused @mrgoogs, who weighed up that if he turned seventy in 2000, then by that calculation, he would be turning ninety-three on his birthday this July! “So if you were 70 in 2000, you’ll be 93 this July 30?” he reflected.
@omegaman1968 thoughtfully shared that Frank Stallone had tagged one of his brother’s fan sites instead of tagging him directly. “Frank, you tagged the wrong account for your brother. That’s a fan account !!” said @omegaman1968.
Probably for reasons known only to her, @nancy.nester echoed, “Get busy living or get busy dying.” Rather philosophically, a person should do something with his life; sooner or later, he will leave the world.

@lisamarie0609 also stood among those confused by Frank Stallone’s statement, “Not sure if people are getting this, but – you’re a Leo born in July, and the year you turned 70 was 2020, not 2000? otherwise, you’d be 92 right now.”
@buddy.scarantino, in a rather contemplative mood, wondered that everyone ages. But there’s so little time to share all the knowledge we possess. “We all get older. A shame with all the knowledge we have to pass on,” he said.
