As entertaining as influencer boxing is, it’s marred by numerous controversies. In what turned out to be one of the most underwhelming and disappointing fights, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis clashed in the ring. Instead of an all-out brawl, fans got to witness a lackluster, bordering weird battle of egos. However, with weeks between today and that fateful night, ‘El Jefe’ has again launched a war of words upon Logan Paul.
In the lead-up to the highly anticipated clash of the YouTuber and the influencer, Danis took a derogatory approach to promoting the fight. The mixed martial artist dragged in Logan’s fiance, Nina Agdal, tweeting pictures of her with other men. Nevertheless, before their fight, both parties entered into a gentleman’s agreement. Paul suggested if Danis showed up for the fight, he would fight him in an MMA rematch. Now that the bout has concluded, Dillon sees no sign of a rematch. So, Logan Paul has again became the target of online abuse from Danis.

Turning to X (formerly Twitter), ‘El Jefe’ recalled that he kept his side of the deal by showing up for the fight, but Paul failed to deliver on his promise. “I kept my part of the deal, and you didn’t,” wrote Dillon. He used Logan’s failed promise to point out his ‘real character.’ “Shows what kind of character you have. Oh, I forgot, you don’t have any,” he added. Danis also used this opportunity to bring up Logan’s alleged scams, where he has not paid back the victims yet.
I kept my part of the deal, and you didn't, which shows what kind of character you have. Oh, I forgot, you don't have any. That's why you scammed your fans out of millions and are still fighting not to give it back, even after all that money I made for you. Scumbag. pic.twitter.com/2vay426ZSg

Meanwhile, Dillon claimed Logan is actively fighting to avoid paying those millions, writing “That’s why you scammed your fans out of millions and are still fighting not to give it back.” ‘El Jefe’ even highlighted the fact that their last fight made Paul a boatload of money. “Even after all that money I made for you. Sc*mbag,” wrote Dillon. However, an MMA rematch with Logan that Dillon wants is in contrast to his claim regarding retirement.
Dillon wants to retire from combat sports
Nobody really knows what Danis’ plans really are. The mixed martial artist was recently released from his contract with Bellator MMA, seeking to join Dana White’s UFC. However, during a recent appearance in the MMA Hour, ‘El Jefe’ claimed he would rather retire from the sport than fight in White’s Contender Series.
I'm done with fighting. I'm retired. Love you all.

Moreover, Dillon doubled down on his claim on X by suggesting he is done with combat sports and is retiring. “I’m done with fighting. I’m retired. Love you all,” he wrote in a tweet. Despite his public announcement, many pundits and fans believe it’s nothing more than an attempt to gain attention.
