Is KSI afraid of fighting Jake Paul? This age-old question can only invite speculation from the influencer boxing community. While KSI has gone back to making YouTube videos after his last fight against Tommy Fury, taking a hiatus from boxing; Jake Paul, on the other hand, is actively pursuing his dreams of becoming a world champion. Or so it seems! After the shocking news of the Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight on July 20 came to light, KSI quickly turned to X (formerly Twitter), condemning the move. He wrote, “50+ years old. No one wanted this…So sad to see man…” And, of course, this didn’t sit well with ‘The Problem Child’ Paul.

So, while appearing in Adin Ross’ live stream on KICK today, the former Disney star went all in on KSI. Later, Paul even shared a clip from the livestream on his social media account, calling out the UK-based YouTube sensation.

Sharing the clip on Instagram, Paul captioned it, “Forehead is all talk. He will never fight me.” However, it’s worth mentioning that in October last year, KSI’s manager had claimed Jake Paul backed out of a potential fight, which could have happened in December the same year. Meanwhile, in the clip, Paul asked Ross, “You [want to] know the difference between Mike Tyson and KSI?” After Ross agreed to learn what Paul had to say, ‘The Problem Child’ claimed that at least 57-year-old Mike Tyson was ready to fight him.

Paul brought up KSI’s comment on his fight against Tyson, claiming, “Mike signed the contract, you f**king b**ch KSI.” Reflecting on what they are up to in their careers, Paul said, “You can say whatever you want, but you’re fat running around doing Sidemen YouTube videos, and I am changing the sport of boxing.”

While lording over his accomplishments because of the Tyson fight, Paul claims KSI isn’t doing anything notable. “[You are] making Fifa reaction videos? I’m sorry, but we are not the same. And you are 30 years old,” said Paul. What’s even more interesting is that KSI has previously claimed that he could never defeat Mike Tyson.

It completely contradicted his comment on the Jake vs. Tyson fight. So, Paul didn’t fail to bring that up, claiming, “You also said a year ago that Mike Tyson would beat you. And you wouldn’t take the fight because of that. So, make up your f**king mind.” However, it’s worth mentioning that KSI wasn’t alone in highlighting the age difference between Paul and Tyson.

UFC CEO isn’t on board with the fight

While appearing in the UFC 299 post-fight press conference, Dana White was probed about the Paul vs. Tyson fight. White has never been a big fan of influencer boxing, to begin with. So, he didn’t shy away from telling the truth while hoping to see something great from Tyson. “He gets mad when I do this, but Mike’s 60. What do you guys think about it? Who gives a s**t what I think? It’s not my fight,” said White.

He further added, “He’s one of my favorite athletes of all time. Let’s see what he can do there, put together in training camp, and come in.” White even expressed his disdain about the age difference between the two fighters by stating, “I don’t like to see guys fighting – a 31-year age difference, you guys know what I think of that stuff.”

KSI seems to have been cornered by Jake Paul, who called out KSI’s hypocrisy about the Tyson vs. Paul fight. However, it’s yet to be seen whether Paul’s jab at the Brit entices KSI to finally sign over the dotted lines to fight Paul. Do you think KSI is avoiding Paul? What do you think of Paul vs. Tyson?
