This weekend is certainly memorable for boxing fans across the world. Lightweight stars Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis finally locked horns in T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. The bout was a show for the ages while it lasted. Davis emerged the victor of the bout by securing a finish due to a body shot in the seventh round. Interestingly, the Baltimore hard-hitter even predicted the round he would finish Garcia in during the lead-up. However, Garcia in his own right showcased his skills and came forward right from the opening bell.
The bout was competitive and Garcia found success in the first and sixth rounds of the bout. However, it was not sufficient as the fighter was stopped and his undefeated reign was halted. After the fight, both competitors had nothing but respect for each other. Garcia showcased the same on his Twitter to which the fans had some interesting reactions.
