It is hard to believe that the bout was initially scheduled between Shields and Hanna Gabriels. But last-minute changes came into force as the latter failed to come clear of the drug tests. Both the boxers exchanged punches way back in 2018. Given the eleventh-hour changes, it deserves credit if the match pulled a five-figure gate.
