The potential matchup between Welterweight champions Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. has been discussed by boxing fans for years. However, despite the excitement surrounding the potential matchup, negotiations have been protracted and often complicated by the different promotional companies involved.
One of the biggest obstacles to making the fight happen has been the divide between the two fighters and their promotions. Bud is currently a free agent, while Spence is represented by PBC. Moreover, it seems that the unified champion is not happy with the representation he is getting with his current promotion. Spence also expressed his frustrations regarding this and was reached out by another promoter who might be looking to sign the champ.
