The 47-year-old constantly practices with his grandson and KJ has left the former champion speechless a few times in his short amateur career so far.

The 3-year-old surprises his fans and sends shockwaves down the boxing world with his sublime skills. A video shared by Melissia, grandmother to KJ, has taken over the internet and fans can’t get enough of the boxing skills on display.

Floyd Mayweather’s Prodigal Grandson

The video shared by KJ’s grandmother features him practicing his boxing chops with Money’s new trainer Crystal Thomas. The video shows the young prodigy punching the mitts held by Thomas as she demands more power from him and the prodigal son obliges. Melissa captioned the video “@kjmeezymayweather working with @crystalthomas8 POWER SHOTS 🥊 He said “I’ma be the CHAMP” that’s right KJ!!” as a few of KJ’s punches even hit the sweet spot, proving the caption right.

Melissa was like a proud grandmother, recording the video and cheering on and celebrating every punch by her grandson. The hype lady acted enthusiastically and was in awe of the talent on display. KJ’s performance garnered not only Melissia’s admiration but also the fans’ as they joined the hype train and were thrilled by his display of talent.

‘A Future World Champion’
