Ryan Garcia is preparing hard for the biggest fight of his life against Gervonta Davis. The fight will take place in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, on Apr 22, 2023. The fighters engaged in a heated debate, last on Mar 10 at the LA press conference. Here, the fighters also had a face-off and talked about how they were going to knock each other out. And at the end, both fighters ended up pushing each other, and the face-off ended abruptly. It’s suffice to say that there is no love lost between the two fighters. Ryan Garcia got stuck in a rehydration clause before the fight, as at first, Garcia revealed in The DAZN Boxing Show that the fight was supposed to go down at 138 lbs. But Tank’s team came up to Garcia at the last moment and stated that they want the fight to be held at 136 lbs. So ‘KingRy’ agreed to their offer. Now, Rolly Romero’s coach, Coach Bullet, believes that Garcia shouldn’t have agreed to the rehydration clause, and this will only make things harder for him.

He also stated that it’s not that difficult for Davis to cut weight, but Garcia is giving up too much of his strength for this fight. He said, “Tank can make 30 again, he went 133 against us, he can make 30. After this, you cannot give up so much weapons and with the body rehydrated, the white blood cells, getting the energy back. That shit takes a lot.

When asked about his stance on Davis using such strategies against Garcia, Coach Bullet enunciated, “I think that’s a smart tactical thing that they did on their part but a dumb decision on Ryan’s part, that’s having game. That’s the little tricks of the game, but I don’t think it should be legal.” In the same interview, due to this tricky clause, Coach Bullet also predicts the fate of Ryan Garcia going up against Gervonta Davis.

Rolly Romero’s coach predicts Garcia vs. Davis

Coach Bullet firmly believes that Davis has an upper hand in this upcoming fight because of the rehydration clause. And it will be a bigger disadvantage to Garcia than he thinks it will be, as his brain will be dry during the fight, which will drastically affect his performance during the bout. Even Boxing World Champion, Regis Prograis recently gave out his predictions for this fight.

He said, “His brain is gonna be dry. Dryer than normal because you can’t fully rehydrate. So with being said that, once you get clipped, it’s over and it ain’t gonna be a big punch, you know what I’m saying.
