In the ever-competitive world of professional boxing, few can leave a name that shines as brightly as Andre Berto. The former welterweight champion has gone against the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to prove his mettle in the ring as a fighter. Though Mayweather outclassed him and even taunted his girlfriend in the middle of the fight. He ended his professional run back in 2018 after his final bout against Devon Alexander which he won via split decision. Since then he has been pretty active on social media where he shares videos of him working out as well as other things from his daily life.

Recently he shared some videos of him engaging in some intense workouts. He has been inspiring his fans to work hard and have discipline as well. He also stresses on importance of consistency in case one wants to become a champion. His posts have raised several questions in fans’ minds about the possibility of the former champion making his return to the ring after 5 years. Moreover, recently he shared a video of him performing mitt-drills. In the post he captioned, “CHOPPING WOOD” he could be seen throwing some heavy punches even at the age of 39.

As the video surfaced fans couldn’t help but marvel at the amazing display of strength by the former champion. The Boxer showed off his immense might after being retired for so long, raising questions in the minds of fans, about his potential return to the ring. Even women’s undisputed middleweight champion Claressa Shields also joined in the frenzy. She took to X as she retweeted the post and simply wrote, “Monster”.

Another fan shared his surprise and confusion as he claimed that the boxer was just teasing the fans. He asked the boxer if he was indeed planning on making a return to the ring once again.

Meanwhile, another fan pointed out that from the video it looked like, Berto still holds the same might as before. He wrote, “Lookn like you can still get in there and smoke somebody.”

One fan reminded him of his bout against Ohio native Shawn Porter. He remarked, “You know how many headbuts there wood be if Shawn Porter was in front of you.”

Another fan appeared to be surprised by the video. He too asked if Berto is planning to get “back in the game”.

Even the biblical verse 1 Corinthians 15:58 made an appearance in this flurry of tweets. One fan shared this verse, “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”
