The pioneer of the meta of influencer boxing KSI has come a long way from his first bout against Joe Weller back in 2018. Ever since then, he has fought several bouts, with his most publicized bout being against his longtime rival turned friend, Logan Paul. However, for the first time in his career, the YouTuber is ready to push the envelope as he prepares to face a professional boxer- Tommy Fury. Fury has already defeated his rival Jake Paul during their Saudi Arabia bout earlier this year.

And now, Fury and JJ are ready to lock horns at the Manchester Arena, England on October 14th. The hype for the event is unprecedented and both fighters have been going back-and-forth as they prepare for the fated day. JJ stated that this could be his final fight as he will basically prove himself better than Jake Paul after defeating Fury. Meanwhile, Fury has boldly stated that he wants to “get rid of” YouTube boxing in 12 months. Thus a lot is at stake for both fighters in this match-up. JJ is under intense training for the fight and there was even a video of him working out until he almost passed out which raised concern among the fans.

Of late, another video of the YouTuber boxer has come out as the day of the brawl draws closer. A video of the influencer practicing his overhand surfaced on social media. The co-owner of PRIME Hydration threw some mean shots at the pad. The caption asked, “Can KSI KO Tommy Fury with this shot?”

As the video of KSI hitting the pad surfaced, fans quickly started mocking the YouTuber. One fan joked that JJ leaving himself wide open like that will definitely not go unpunished against Fury. He stated, “Tommy cracking that wide open chin”.

Another fan answered the question “Nah” and added that the British boxer is “smarter than that.” However, he still holds the belief that “KSI will win, but not with this punch.”

Meanwhile, one user said, “If Tommy Fury stands still for five seconds whilst he loads up then, no.”

Moreover, a fan remained unconvinced and stated that “anyone can look good on pads”. He added, “Wait until his legs give out as the rounds go on”.

Someone else shared his confusion and asked, “Why does his overhand sound like a jab when he connects with the pad?”. He also pointed out how JJ has a habit of dropping both his hands half a second “before his punches”. He claimed that Olatunji would get knocked out by Fury because of this.

Another fan wrote a rather creative remark, “He loads up like a video game boss, you can see it coming from a mile away”.
