Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, is the true personification of sheer power and grit. His explosive performances inside the ring and raw strength elevated him to the pedestal of ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’. And with his demigod-like image, it is often hard to fathom the champ in a state of physical weakness. However, this was exactly what happened, when he was spotted in a wheelchair at an airport. Photos and videos of the champ in a wheelchair first made rounds in mid-2022. Notably, it was at the Miami International Airport. He was later also seen walking with a crutch for support. According to records, Tyson had a sciatica flare-up which had temporary yet debilitating effects on the champ. In an episode of Hotboxin’ podcast with guest Tony Hawk, talking about his experience, Tyson said, “I had sciatica so humbling. Your wife had to help you take a sh*t in the bathroom, you can’t move. That’s tough, really tough. Not now, but when I got sciatica, ‘hey, please help’.”
A doctor talked about the condition that restrained ‘Iron’ Mike to a wheelchair. A Facebook page named MMA-Boxing Society recently reshared the picture of the champ from the airport, and also wished him a speedy recovery.

This was, in fact, a few of the many fans who wished the champ a speedy recovery.
