Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas’ bout was one of the most hyped boxing events of 2021. Both the fighters certainly put on a show worth the buzz, as they presented their best versions against each other. Despite the cosmic slugfest, it was the underdog, Yordenis Ugas, who eventually made the most out of this appearance and won this fight with a unanimous decision.

As the fight began, both the technicians used their jabs to maintain the distance. Pacquiao went ahead with his hits and showed his slick power with his combinations. On the other hand, Ugas looked to land uppercuts, but he didn’t connect well.

Pacquiao had the speed, and he seemed desperate to land combinations. But the lanky Ugas was out of his reach. However, ‘Pacman’ had his moments and managed to hold his own. He landed some of his best shots in round 3, but the Cuban boxer counter-attacked well.
