“Y’all So B*tt Hurt About Mayweather”: Despite Winning the $600,000,000 Fight, Mike Tyson Snubbing Floyd Mayweather Over Manny Pacquiao in Past Still Leaves Boxing World Divided

The debate of the greatest of all time has been a long-running notion in boxing. The sport has been graced by the presence of some of the greatest athletes ever to tighten their boxing gloves. And it is safe to say that the task of choosing the best ever professional boxer is not as easy as it seems. Floyd Mayweather Jr has cemented his legacy as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers ever in the sport. But the question of him being the greatest of all time still remains unanswered. And, despite the champ’s claims. The former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, disagrees with him.

An old Facebook post of Mike Tyson snubbing Floyd Mayweather Jr as the greatest of all time. And choosing Mayweather Jr’s old opponent and former eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao has left the fans divided and in a conundrum.

In a 2019 episode of HotBoxin’ with Mike Tyson, ‘Iron Mike’ stated the records of some of the greatest professional boxers to explain the reason he disagrees with Floyd Mayweather’s logic and claims of being the greatest of all time. Tyson talked about the exceptional records of Sugar Ray Robinson and Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.

Tyson said, “Mayweather is not the GOAT. I enjoy watching Pacquiao more.” It seems like Tyson has a liking towards the Filipino professional boxer. He added, “Floyd’s a great fighter, don’t get me wrong. He had 50 fights.” We should note that the super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao generated over $600 million.

Stating the records of other greats, Tyson added, “Listen, Sugar Ray Robinson had 40 fights. He lost one. Then he had a 78-fight winning streak.” Further talking about the record of Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., said that he had a record of 89-0 before he lost his first fight. Further slamming Mayweather Jr, Tyson added, “Don’t tell me about, ‘You’re the greatest fighter,’ with 50-0.” Tyson has talked many times about Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The remarks of Mike Tyson left fans in splits

A fan talked about fans not being happy, despite Mayweather still being the top 5 pound-for-pound boxers. He wrote, “Lol y’all so b*tt hurt about Mayweather of not losing any fights. Mayweather is at least top 5 best pound for pound ever.”

Another fan believes that when Mike Tyson talks, one should listen. He wrote, “When the master speak u listen.”

Another fan agrees with Tyson. He commented, “I agree with Iron Mike Tyson.”
