“Y’all Cooking Something Special, Make It Happen Oscar”: Boxing Fans Make a Plea to Oscar De La Hoya for Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr.

One of the renowned names in boxing, Oscar De La Hoya posted a tweet that created a lot of anticipation in the minds of boxing fans. In the tweet, he can be seen taking a picture with Bernard Hopkins on the right and Terrence Crawford in the middle. Oscar De La Hoya, who was once a world champion, has his boxing promotional firm which goes by the name, Golden Boy Promotions. So for him, taking a picture with Terrence Crawford may unfold a lot of great moments in boxing history.

Terence Crawford is a professional boxer from the United States. He competes in the welterweight division and is considered one of the best boxers in the world at present. Currently, his boxing record stands at 39 wins and 0 losses. 

And everybody wants to see him fight against Errol Spence Jr. The fight between the two has been prolonged for a long time, and fans are getting restless. So in this latest picture, fans were seen pleading with Oscar De La Hoya to make the fight that everyone wants to see happen.

The fans do not want any time wasted and just want to see the two superstars of the Welterweight division share the ring with each other. And witnessing Crawford beside De La Hoya has given them a ray of hope that maybe they’d get what they want. It’s been a lot of years since their rivalry started to brew. One time, Errol Spence Jr. also told Terrence Crawford to stop talking.

One of the fans straight up told Oscar De La Hoya to make the fights happen, and provide the fans with the show they deserve.

Another fan is intrigued and cannot hold his excitement for what the future awaits. He requested Oscar to make the anticipated fight happen and also raised a question to Errol Spence Jr., when will he step forward to fight Terrence Crawford?

One more fan took a jab at Spence. They hilariously remarked that he was standing on the wrong side of the road. The comment tries to incite that he is possibly afraid of Crawford.

One fan deviated from the fight between the two and wrote a comment on why he likes Terrence Crawford as a boxer and also compares him with Pernell Whitaker.

But not all the fans wanted to talk about the fight. Some fans were just happy to see Bernard Hopkins in the picture since they do not get him as much on Twitter.

Bernard’s presence in the photo attracts comments

One user simply said that the photo is crowded by greatness. He states that there are a lot of Champions in just one picture.

Another fan praised Hopkins that when he took his retirement, he was still a champion even though he lost his retirement match against Joe Smith Jr. by TKO in the eighth round.

Another fan praised Bernard Hopkins that he’s a better boxer than both other legends, Oscar De La Hoya and Terrence Crawford.
