YouTube sensations Jake and Logan Paul have led the way for social media influencers to transition into sports. The pair have naturally gifted athletic abilities that they have used to their advantage and successfully compete in competitive sports at a high level.

Moreover, Jake recently revealed how his and his brother’s athleticism worked in their favor. In an appearance on Anthony Pompliano’s podcast, he was asked how he and Logan were able to do so well compared to other influencers. Jake then detailed how competing just goes back to their love of combat sports.

We’ve always loved Combat Sports and we were both wrestlers but also we’re entertainers and that’s why I think like boxing you know fits me perfectly. Everything about it not just the fight but I’m an athlete at heart. That’s what I started out doing and people intend to forget that.” he said.

He then added that while he was more suitable to be a boxer, Logan had abilities best suited for professional wrestling. “My brother was third place at State as a wrestler his senior year um All-State football. So boxing fits me perfectly and the WWE fits Logan perfectly. He can backflip he could do the splits um he picks he’s a quick learner um he’s acrobatic. He can backflip, he could do the splits, he’s a quick learner um he’s acrobatic. Even when we were kids. He was really good on the trampoline like he could do all the tricks,” he added.

Professional wrestling and boxing require two very different types of skill sets. However, the Paul brothers have taken up sports best suited to their abilities while also making careers out of it.

Jake Paul offers Paddy Pimblett a new date to spar

The saga between Jake Paul and UFC star Paddy Pimblett continues, and the former has responded to Pimblett, accepting his challenge. Paul took to Twitter and claimed that he was ready to make an appearance on the British fighter’s podcast. Moreover, he even offered a private jet for Pimblett to fly him over to Puerto Rico for a 5 round sparring session.

Paul initially offered Pimblett $1 million for a sparring session. Following this, Pimblett accepted Paul’s offer shortly after it was issued. But his counter was for Paul to fly to Las Vegas for a sparring session at the UFC Performance Institute.
