YouTube sensation Logan Paul recently tried his hand at professional wrestling and, to the surprise of many, even managed to put up some great matches. Paul made his in-ring debut teaming up with the Miz in WrestleMania earlier this year. This was followed by his single’s debut on SummerSlam where he beat The Miz.

The Maverick’s exciting and athletic performances earned him a shot at the WWE title just after two bouts. Paul is not set to face Roman Reigns for the championship at the WWE Crown Jewel event in November. However, it looks like WWE Hall of Fame Shawn Michaels was not so sure if Paul could beat ‘The Big Dog’. Michales made an appearance on Paul’s podcast Impaulsive, where he spoke about his chances against Reigns.

“This is number three right for you? Like in my third one, am I going to beat one of the best of all time? Well, I mean, you know, cut me some slack. I mean it took me 10 years and you know, I’m one of the greatest of all time. And not that you can’t get there, but at number three, I think you’re going to do fantastic.” said Michaels.

Although ‘The Heart Break Kid’ was neutral in his stance, he did insinuate that it would be hard for him to win a title in his third bout. However, Michaels certainly feels that Paul will put on a great performance for his fans and will only grow as the years progresses.

Shawn Michaels details his training sessions with Logan Paul

In an interview with TMZ, Michaels revealed what it was like training with Paul for the first time. He detailed that he was very impressed with Paul’s athletic ability and physical prowess. He also stated that working with The Maverick was very productive, as he was committed and dedicated to his craft. “He’s fully committed to what he does, and certainly fully committed to this, and I appreciate that. Clearly athletic as heck. So he’s naturally gifted in a lot of areas.” said Michaels.
