‘WTF Was That?!’: Fans in Frenzy as Floyd Mayweather’s Opponent Deji ‘Nearly Died’ While Shooting YouTube Video

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is set to compete in his next exhibition bout against YouTube sensation Deji. This will be his fifth exhibition bout since retiring from the sport professionally back in 2017. The bout will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai this Sunday night.

Mayweather has fought in four exhibitions prior to this, including against Deji’s fellow YouTuber Logan Paul. Deji, on the other hand, is coming off his first professional victory after beating ‘Fousey’ on the undercard of KSI’s two fights in a night event. However, despite having the biggest match of his young boxing career next week, Deji appeared in the latest Sideman video, where he nearly died.

In the video, Deji jumped into a pool. However, his slippers got stuck behind the platform, resulting in a very awkward jump and landing. Although the British YouTuber was safe, he could have hit the railing and badly injured himself. Moreover, this was not all as fans went into a frenzy, reacting to Deji almost dying a week before his fight.

One fan praised Deji stating that he was a regular in all Sideman videos.

Another fan wondered why there was a crowd of girls present for the video. He stated that the camera kept showing them as if they were the new sidemen.

One fan even called Deji a ‘legend’ for participating in the video, despite facing Mayweather next week.

However, one fan stated that this was the worst sideman video in his opinion.

Another fan also claimed that he did not enjoy this episode when compared to other Sidemen episodes and hoped the next one would be better

Lastly, one fan stated that if the Sidemen were to post videos like this, he would not mind if they took some time off YouTube. He added that the production cost of the video was so high that the actual skit was not able to shine.

The fans seemed to have mixed opinions about this video. While some think that this was an impressive effort for Deji to make a video so close to the fight, others feel that this video did not have anything special to offer.
