Canelo Alvarez is looking absolutely shredded ahead of a hugely anticipated return to the boxing ring. The Mexican boxer will take on the undefeated British prospect in Callum Smith.
The boxers will share the boxing ring in a title unification bout for the WBA super-middleweight championship of the world. Alvarez will go down a weight class after his emphatic win over Sergey Kovalev late last year for the light-heavyweight strap.
Alvarez grabbed the WBA (Regular) super-middleweight title with a spectacular 3rd-round KO win over Rocky Fielding back in December 2018.

Canelo continues to scale the heights of the boxing world. As of today, he is considered the pound-for-pound best by boxing fans around the world.
Meanwhile, Callum Smith reigns as the WBC (Super) super-middleweight champion of the world. He will look to best the Mexican fighter later this month inside Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas.
The former Commonwealth silver medallist has raked in 27 straight wins inside the ring. Smith will look to build on his dominant run to cap 2020 off with a major upset win over Alvarez. However, it will be easier said than done.

He has gone on to capture world championships at multiple weight classes. Ahead of the unification title bout, Canelo will look to cement his position as arguably the best to ever do it by snapping Smith off his undefeated streak.
On the other side, knockout artist Callum Smith has what it takes to beat Alvarez. He is quick on his feet and has a tremendous amount of experience in the super-middleweight division.
