With his sheer brilliance, he registered constant wins and made his way to the top. After 24 years as a competitor, he retired with a whopping 107-6-2 boxing stint.

Following his footsteps, Canelo Alvarez, too, is tracing the pathway of greatness. There are significant comparisons drawn between him and Chavez because both of them have achieved enough in the sport of boxing. A few months back, Alvarez even admitted that if he’d fought Chavez in his prime, he would have beaten him.
