In the latest episode of his podcast Impaulsive, The Maverick revealed he was worried that Jake might get knocked out. “Jake could get (hit), I’m worried he could get clocked.’ he said

However, he then revealed that Jake was confident that he could get the job done. He also claimed that he was done doubting Jake and touted him to win, although it won’t be an easy one. “Just so you guys know, I asked Jake how he’s feeling, Uber Confident, very confident. I’m done doubting Jake. I knew he’s gonna win but its gonna be a hard fight for him.” said Paul.

This advice might have something to do with Logan’s own purse when he fought ‘Money.’ The Maverick had accused the former 5-division champ of not paying him his full share for their bout. However, it seems that Logan doesn’t want Deji to share the same fate as him and urged him to stray on the side of caution.
