In a little more than a week, ‘The Bronze Bomber’, Deontay Wilder will make his way back to the ring. Wilder, 36, will fight Robert Helenius, 38, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It has been a year since Deontay Wilder fought his last. His last two fights were against Tyson Fury and he lost both fights.

At the same arena in 2017, Wilder fought Bermane Stiverne for the second time. Although the first bout went the entire distance of the scheduled twelve rounds, Wilder slept Stiverne in the first round in their second meeting.

Ahead of his bout with Helenius on October 15th, the brief clip of Wilder knocking out Stiverne went viral one more time. Looking at Wilder’s aggression and ferocity in the fight, fans are calling it ‘the most disrespectful knockout in all of boxing.’

Speaking of the knockout, fans talked about various aspects of Wilder’s fighting. A fan shared a screenshot where Wilder looked Stiverne in the eye as the duo occupied the center of the ring.

The fan wrote, “He just stared at him.”

 

On the other hand, speaking of Wilder’s footwork, one spotted Wilder executing a Euro-Step midway in the fight. He said, “Doing a Euro step mid-fight is crazy.”

In another fan’s opinion, Wilder was entertaining, but in Stiverne, he fought a ‘can’. They said, “Wilder is entertaining AF. He should keep fighting cans.”

Meanwhile, another fan felt Wilder vs. Stiverne was a “Total miss-match!!” In addition, they wrote, “My favorite “Disrespectful Knockout” would be the iconic image of Ali standing over Liston. 🤜💪”

 

Another found a savior in Deontay Wilder’s boxing. They commented by saying, “Wilder saved the heavyweight division. It was absolutely piss boring until fury came back on drugs and ruined everything again.”

 

Meanwhile, a fan said, “Wilder’s greatness cannot be denied no matter how embarrassing the fury defeats were.”
