Jake Paul’s girlfriend Jutta Leerdam has been on fire during the opening weekend of the skating season in Heerenveen. The renowned Dutch speed skater has already won two events and has made a strong case for herself in the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.
She made her Olympic debut in 2022 and came in fifth place in the women’s 500-meter race and won a silver in 1,000-meter. Since then, she has been on fire and has clinched several medals to her name with an aim to secure gold in Milan-Cortina in 2026. While competing in the World Cup qualifiers, she won the 500m race and also secured the first spot in the 1000-meter race. The sensational performance left Jake Paul quite pleased as he took to Instagram to congratulate his partner on this glorious feat.

It is worth noticing that Leerdam is skating without a commercial team this season. She also assembled her coaching team by herself and is not dependent on anyone. The 2022 Winter Games silver medalist has been on a path to change the color of her medal into gold and in the 1000-meter, she does not need a commercial team. With her recent performance and her performance throughout these qualifiers, it is evident that her way is clearly working.
She won the 500-meter on Sunday, and a day later defeated Angel Daleman to secure a first place finish in the 1000-meter as well with a time of 1.13.72. These performances have motivated the Dutch skater as she feels that she can “rule the 1,000 meters again. I first thought that I would need more time, but I feel strong in terms of form and strength.”
