The super fight that has been in the making for almost five years now is finally going to touch the canvas at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on the night of July 29th. Terence Crawford is looking forward to becoming the 3-division title holder after his bout against Errol Spence Jr. Spence has been reigning the division for six years and, interestingly, has never struggled through a fight. But then, Crawford made an unheralded entry in the Welterweight division after unifying his Lightweight belt with the Super Lightweight title. Including the Undisputed Welterweight title, both fighters will also be putting their perfect zero-loss records in peril.
And since the fight has been announced, a slew of highly pedestalled boxing names have been giving their verdict about the result of this anticipated bout. Amongst them, Adrien Broner has also talked about his predictions regarding this fight and has told the media who he thinks will grab the win between Crawford and Spence.

For a long time, there was a bit of a debate regarding the sparring session that took place between Broner and Spence. Many conjectured that Spence knocked down ‘The Problem’. Well, there was no official result announced as such. But still, all of this trivial controversy doesn’t seem to have affected their relationship. Not long ago, Broner also stood in solidarity with fellow boxer, Chris Colbert in spite of the controversial win. Nonetheless, recently, Broner hopped on an interview with FightHype.com where he was asked about his thoughts on Crawford-Spence.

Broner then spoke about Spence in quite a high regard. He cautioned Crawford that during their fight, his eyes will open up and he will realize that in order to put down ‘The Truth’ he will have to fight him for real. Broner said, “It’s not going to be time for that much of boxing and trying to get out of the way. He’s going to have to fight.”

Then Broner proceeded on to say that Spence’s defense is quite underrated. He believes that a lot of people don’t give enough credit to Spence’s fighting style. “Everybody thinks he’s just some come, get ’em, knock ’em down a** guy. Nah he can fight,” he said.

Finally, he showed his blatant support for Spence. He declared, “I’m a fan of both, but I’m closer to Errol, so I’m picking Errol to win for sure.” It turns out the relationship between Spence and Broner is still congenial. And the sparring hasn’t affected their friendship at all. Who are you supporting for the July 29th fight? Give us a name in the comments section.
