Dan Hardy, a former UFC fighter describes the impact of having Mike Tyson in Francis Ngannou’s corner. According to Hardy, Tyson’s presence not only brings an aura of invincibility but also provides Ngannou with tactical insights. As he said, “Working out together is a massive advantage to have Mr. Iron Mike Tyson on Ngannou’s side. For sure, I mean, not only given the fact that it’s like the aura that he brings, the energy that he brings to the room, but also stylistically as well. It’s very suitable to what Ngannou is going to have to do against Fury.”

Furthermore, he elucidated how the peek-a-boo style, a Tyson signature, could be the key for Ngannou to navigate around Fury’s formidable jab. Hardy said, “You know, that peek-a-boo style to get around the jab, work into the body, coming up to the head is going to be ideal for him. So if he can take some of those things off of Tyson, as well as some of that Mike Tyson energy, it’s a different thing again.”

However, not only Hardy, Ngannou himself has delved into the impact of Mike training him.
