Stenevson will be fighting in the lightweight weight division this year. Stevenson has had the desire to fight in the other weight classes for a long time. Last year he made it known to his fans that he is eyeing fights with boxers such as Vasyl Lomachenko and Gervonta Davis. Winning a fight against these lightweight fighters would eventually open the path for ‘Fearless’ to fight for the undisputed lightweight championship, which is currently held by Devin Haney.
The former champ in two weight classes is ready for this challenge and working hard. Stevenson has a professional record of 19 wins with 9 knockouts. In April, he is scheduled to fight Shuichiro Yoshino in his first lightweight bout. The lightweight division should be ready for a storm in the form of Shakur Stevenson. The spectators can expect an exciting environment in the lightweight division.
