Davis said “Learning off of Floyd and him just actually like you know, texting me, calling me, checking up on me and stuff like that. Honestly, Floyd my favorite fighter of all time like, I was geek when he calling me, texting me, checking up on me, you know, closing the gym down for me and my brother so we can come in and train, you know. That’s one of my favorite fighters of all times so I was, I was geek when he was showing me that much attention, just that much of respect. Shout out to Floyd man, you a real one.” Seems like Mayweather just pushed up Davis’s respect for him.
