Floyd Mayweather Jr. is regarded as one of the best boxers in the world. His career serves as a testament to his skill, passion, and work ethic. He matched up with some of the best in the game and remained undefeated which led him to be hailed as one of the greatest. His remarkable defense thanks to his head movement and footwork, left the boxing experts dumbfounded. He has also previously claimed that he has earned over $1.2 billion over the course of his career.
However, he didn’t reach such heights all on his own, after all, he had the support of his uncle Roger Mayweather, and his father Floyd Mayweather Sr. Both brothers were former professional boxers and some would say that his fate in the sport was already pre-determined. He began his career with his father and he learned and upgraded his father’s famous shoulder roll’. Floyd Mayweather shares insight on the importance of belief

Recently Grant Cardone shared the 10X Growth Conference interview of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, which he took back in 2020 on YouTube. At one point in the video, Cardone starts to talk about the influence his father and uncle had on the boxer. He further asked if he would’ve taken a different direction if his mentors were in a different profession. To this, ‘Money,’ stated that he doesn’t know what he could’ve been.
He stated, “You just don’t know, you really just don’t know.” He added, “You know I just kept my fingers crossed and just believed”. Furthermore, he said, “That’s really the main thing you got to believe and you really got to stay focused at whatever you want to do in life.”
According to Mayweather, it is important for one to keep their attention on their goals at all times. He urged to “believe first”. before investing time in any endevour. He claimed that this is something that he has always relied upon.
Michael Jai White reveals Mayweather’s toughest fight
Mayweather battled against some of the best opponents. Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, and Conor McGregor are only some of the names on the list. However, Michael Jai White thinks that none of these fighters gave him as much trouble as Shane Mosely. White discussed the great career Mayweather had and how dominant the boxer was in the ring. Ultimately, he came out the victor in all his battles and remained undefeated.

White stated, “I would say the worst would be, um, Shane [Mosley]. Yeah, Shane stung him, okay. Pretty bad. That was the worst I’ve seen Floyd. But even with that, he didn’t come out of it a bloody mess. No, he turned around and beat the hell out of Shane”.
White addressed the 2010 bout between Mayweather and Mosley. The aforementioned situation took place after Mosely landed two powerful shots at Mayweather which almost had him on his knees. However, Mayweather kept fighting back and achieved victory as well. Recently, the boxing legend revealed what he said to Mosley when this happened.
