Moreover, as speculations were being made of him potentially leaving his promotion, he was sued by Golden Boy Promotions, while trying to terminate his contract with the promotion. The scenario appeared much similar to the time Canelo Alvarez left the brand.

Furthermore, while the whole boxing world had its eyes on him, the boxing sensation recently called out Regis Prograis for a potential bout. Moreover, he appeared at the biggest event in the world of poker. Furthermore, it appears that ‘The Flash’ is very close to cashing out at the main event of the World Series of Poker. Of late, Garcia even shared details about his new endeavor with fans.

Ryan Garcia is about to venture into a different realm to earn some extra cash. He recently posted his picture on Instagram, with the caption, “DAY 4 of the main event biggest poker tournament in the world 📸 @95.media Trying to win 12 million 🎲”. He also shared a similar post on his Twitter. Interestingly, he finds himself just ten spots away from securing a payout at the illustrious main event of the World Series of Poker, the grandest occasion in the poker community. This achievement would guarantee Garcia a minimum cash prize of $15,000, providing an exciting opportunity for the young athlete.

There is a prize pool of over $93 million up for grabs in this year’s edition of the event. This year, the WSOP will span around 11 days, it initially attracted over 10,000 hopeful contenders. As of day four, Garcia found himself in the 246th place out of the remaining 1,517 players. Out of this pool, 1,507 players will ultimately secure a cash prize, ensuring a minimum payout of $15,000. Moreover, the tournament is slated to be concluded on July 17th and the winner will walk away with a staggering sum of over $12 million. This substantial payday offers a remarkable financial reward without enduring any physical blows to the face.

Garcia calls out Prograis but later deletes the Tweet

Ryan Garcia is currently training with his new trainer James, trying to get rid of his shortcomings which cost him the Gervonta Davis bout. Moreover, he is eyeing potential contenders and the list includes, Teofimo Lopez, Isaac Cruz, and Rolando Romero. Furthermore, Romero even called him out after his controversial victory against Ismael Barroso. However, Garcia recently issued a challenge to Regis Prograis. The 24-year old boxer urged Prograis’ promoter Eddie Hearn to reach out and arrange a fight between them.

In the now-deleted tweet Garcia wrote, “Regis if you want to fight. Please let Eddie know 🥊🥊 I want all that 💨 I’m confident I can do damage at 140. So if you want to make something happen, please contact my team. I’m dead serious.” He recognizes the feasibility of this matchup and believes he has an excellent chance at defeating Prograis. Recently, Hearn revealed that he had sent an offer to Haney for the Prograis fight but expressed doubts over its fruition.
