Earlier this year, Cruz signed a deal with Eddie to make his professional debut in the ring. Speaking on the deal, Eddie said, “Andy is one of the most sought-after fighters to make the switch to the pro code, and we are honored to be trusted with the career of such a talented man.”
The promoter is leveraging the stellar record Andy brings to the table from his amateur days. He struck gold at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in the Lightweight division against Keyshawn Davis in the delayed games in August 2021. He also carries the record of 140-9.
