Going by what Shields believes, For Taylor to do any major damage to Cameron, would require a lot of calculations and strategy. Chantelle holds the advantage of being the stronger and larger fighter. Taylor would need a good defence to tackle the challenge. “Katie will have to be very very strategic to not take those punches, to not get hit with the body shots and not show that she’s hurt with shots.” said Shields.

About their last fight, it was clear to Shields that Chantelle was the dominant one inside the ring. Comparing her to a ‘hunter’, she lauded the undisputed light-welterweight champion for her control over the fight and strong, precise body shots. If Cameron continues with her strategy, Shields believes it could guarantee her a victory. “If Katie doesn’t up her game, she may have to stand here and fight her some and not be so much on the defense to not get hit with shots.” For Taylor to not repeat history, she would have to level up and build a much stronger defense for her rematch with Cameron.
