On August 5th, live on DAZN pay-per-view, Jake Paul will square off against Nate Diaz inside the boxing ring. Ahead of the said bout and following Ryan Garcia‘s first professional defeat to Gervonta Davis, former UFC champion Conor McGregor predicted the outcome of Nate Diaz vs. ‘The Problem Child’. What McGregor predicted, of course, did not please Jake Paul.
Thus, Jake Paul later took to Instagram and publicly issued a reply to McGregor, promising to deliver what ‘The Notorious’ could not. In McGregor’s opinion, if Jake Paul shared the ring with the much-seasoned Nate Diaz, Diaz would “slap” Paul’s “head off of him“. Soon, the mentioned declaration led Paul to make a bold statement in public.

Apart from predicting Nate Diaz’s victory against Jake Paul, McGregor, who granted Paul’s wish, revealed that he looked forward to seeing the fight. On being asked whether or not he will be in Dallas, McGregor replied in the affirmative stating he would “probably be on the Lamborghini“. Following the statements made by Conor McGregor, Jake Paul claimed that he was “a better boxer” than the Irish mixed martial artist. In the same vein, ‘The Problem Child’ promised to knock out Nate Diaz which McGregor could not do in his career in the UFC.

Taking to Instagram, in one of his Stories, Paul wrote, “I’m a better boxer than you Conor, and will do what you couldn’t and knock Nate out.” In addition, he proposed to McGregor for a fight at Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano II. “After Nate let’s box as the co-main event the same night as Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano in Dublin. But since you’re not your own boss you will hide behind Dana or just drink the rest of your life away,” he added saying.
