The count down for the historic British blockbuster fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury and WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte has begun. However, ahead of the epic rumble, the verbal beef between the two parties has become more intense. Weeks ahead of the April 23 showdown, Whyte’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, made a big prediction.

When asked in what round ‘The Body Snatcher’ would get finished, Hearn replied, “He won’t be KO’ed. Fury, in my opinion, don’t carry the power to take Dillian Whyte out. I believe actually when they trade up left hooks Tyson Fury will go to sleep, and he will go to sleep in round 11.”

 

For the uninitiated, Hearn believes that the left hook of his fighter is more lethal.

Moreover, as ‘The Body Snatcher’ has proved this several times before, the Matchroom Boxing chairperson is right to some extent. But will this weapon be able to thrash ‘The Gypsy King’? Only time will tell.

The British promoter and ‘The Gypsy King‘ have shared a long-time grudge. Though they have denied this, it is clear in their cutting remarks about each other. This rivalry resurfaced when both Whyte and Hearn didn’t attend the major press conference on March 1.

Interestingly, during the media event, ‘The Gypsy King’ proved that he didn’t need ‘The Body Snatcher’ and Eddie Hearn to set the rhythm.

In a hilarious act, the 33-year-old veteran performed a face-off with Whyte’s poster that was behind the table. The champion claimed he would win this stare-down and actually followed the formalities as though the challenger was around.
