After appearing drunk on DAZN, David Benavidez took to Instagram and publicly apologized. “I just want to take this time to apologize to all my fans and to the people that seen me last night drunk,” Benavidez wrote. Additionally, the 27-year-old promised this would “never happen again.” In this connection, during his latest interaction with the media, Ryan Garcia said, “He should not have said sorry. Why should you apologize if you are on your day off?”
“People get drunk all the time. It’s the network’s issue for recording him while he was drunk. Why record him when he is drunk? That’s crazy. You’re a grown man you can do what you want,” added Garcia who stated cannabis consumption was his constitutional right.
Along these lines, Garcia was asked if Canelo Alvarez would now be interested in fighting David Benavidez. In his reply, ‘KingRy’ said that the undisputed Super-Middleweight champion would beat ‘Red Flag’ when the two share the ring.
