Floyd Mayweather Jr. is famous for showing off his generational wealth, which isn’t surprising given that he’s one of the richest athletes globally. His income streams come from various sources, including pay-per-view earnings, millions in prize money, and lucrative endorsement deals. He’s the proud owner of several valuable assets, including luxurious homes, private planes, fancy jewelry, and an impressive collection of cars. Recently, Mayweather treated his followers to a sneak peek of his extensive car collection.

In a video clip, Mayweather walks through his parking garage, revealing sixteen of his most frequently used cars and mentioning that he owns over 100. The former four-division champion highlights his love for automobiles by showing off a variety of models, including a McLaren and a Rolls-Royce. Floyd says, “We’ve got options, options, options. I’ve got about one-hundred cars, but right here, we like to call this the ‘Sweet 16’… I got options.”

Boxing reporter Michael Benson shared the clip on Twitter with the caption, “Floyd Mayweather showing off his ‘GTA garage’ car collection …”. Fans went wild in the comments and some of them trolled Mayweather. There were also some who were impressed by the collection.

Fans had a variety of different responses to Mayweather’s video. While some fans were impressed others were not so kind in their words towards Floyd. One Twitter user couldn’t help but notice Mayweather calling his Mercedes a McLaren, he poked fun at Mayweather’s apparent mistake.

Meanwhile, Sports Junkie praised the retired athlete for his hard work in earning his luxurious cars. He acknowledged the amount of blood, sweat, and tears Floyd had to put in to be able to buy these cars.

On the other hand, one user expressed disappointment at the blandness of Mayweather’s car selection. He called the collection outright “boring.”

One user used this opportunity to criticize Mayweather for apparently not paying debts to YouTubers Logan Paul and Deji, which he claims tarnished his legacy.

Similarly, another user implied that Mayweather’s extravagant display of wealth was merely a cover-up for his financial troubles. He referred to Floyd’s most recent exhibition match with Aaron Chalmers which had remarkably low attendance due to bad marketing.

One fan, Adam Roscoe pointed out how every car had the same color-black. He claimed that he hasn’t seen “such a boring set of supercars.”
