Although the heavyweight champion announced his retirement claiming he was done with the sport, a significant group anticipated his comeback following the end of the Joshua vs. Usyk II fight. As Usyk beat Joshua for the second time, Fury, reciprocating to Usyk’s call for a future bout, assured his return to pro boxing.

Recently, Tyson Fury explained why he now reconsidered his decision and decided to get back in the ring. He said, “I got bored with retirement. I had five months out the ring and changed my mind. Nobody believed me, did they?…”

Apparently, Tyson Fury, with an absence of five months, got bored and realized his true love resided in boxing. Therefore, Fury changed his mind. According to Fury, nothing will ever compare with him being the heavyweight champion of the world. Fury added by saying, “It was great. But nothing will ever compare with being heavyweight champion of the world. I love boxing. I absolutely adore it.”
The news was further tweeted by Michael Benson. Even though Fury is eager to take a shot at Usyk, the Ukrainian has announced he would not fight again this year. However, Fury wants to fight this year and not wait for Usyk. Earlier, Tyson Fury even demanded a total of half-a-billion dollars to make his return to the ring. Even though ‘The Gypsy King’ gave every reason to stay retired, he now has changed his mind.

Prior to Usyk, Fury asked for another Derek Chisora fight. Back then, ‘The Gypsy King’ said, “You’re running, Derek, from the trilogy. You call yourself war, you should call yourself chicken. I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight world champion in history to have two trilogies.”
