On Tuesday, the press conference for the January 18th Misfits Series 20 headlined by Till vs. Fury fight started, with Tommy and his father sitting at one end and Till, the former mixed martial artist, sitting at the other. While in the beginning things were respectful, at one point, the former UFC fighter antagonized Tommy’s team, going as far as to suggest that if he feels he is losing the fight, he will kick Fury in the head.
“I just haven’t seen anything, to be honest with you,” Till said when asked about his thoughts on Fury’s skills. “I’m just going to obliterate him. I am. I’m going to f**king absolutely do a number on him. I’m going to walk him down and obliterate him.” Tommy, of course, wasn’t about to sit down and listen in silence, as he informed Till that wouldn’t happen.
“At the end of the day, I can’t beat you. I’ll just kick you in the face in there,” Till responded. He continued antagonizing Tommy and his team, suggesting no one there was a threat to him. “Not one person in this room, security, you, your dad are not a threat to me,” he said. Claiming he was a MMA fighter, he reiterated that he would kick and elbow Fury in the ring, noting, “And no one can do anything about it.”
Till even brought up Tyson Fury, highlighting he had previously sparred with ‘The Gypsy King.’ This didn’t sit well with Big John, who repeated Will Smith’s famous line, “Keep my son’s name out of your mouth,” as he got involved, repeatedly screaming, “pig’s eyes.” This prompted Till to give John his new nickname, “Shut your mouth, ‘Little John’.”

As the screaming match continued between the two parties, the host highlighted the respect was gone, prompting Till to interject, claiming, “They swallowed it.” In retaliation, John angrily yelled out, “F**k you, pig’s eyes” just for Till to say, “Shut your mouth ‘Little John’.” As Tommy Fury tried to get a few words out, Till turned his insults back on him.
“Tommy you got an IQ of a loaf of bread, mate. What are you on about? You are an empty head,” Till said during the presser. However, cutting Till mid-sentence, John Fury got up and threw water out of a bottle at Till, resulting in both corners nearly getting into a brawl. Soon, security swarmed both sides, preventing the incident from turning more ugly. Meanwhile, Tommy Fury shared an update on the Jake Paul rematch as well.

Tommy Fury reveals he will fight Jake Paul in a heartbeat
Tommy Fury, who defeated ‘The Problem Child’ back in February 2023, is confident he will get back in the ring with Paul. “He’s only got one defeat and that’s to me, so it’s inevitable that we are going to get back in the ring,” Fury told ESPN on Tuesday. Paul recently defeated legendary Mike Tyson in Texas, which has garnered him several callouts from actual boxers.
Regardless, Tommy Fury also expressed confidence in his own progression, saying, “I know I’m going to be an improved fighter,” while doubting whether Paul will improve as much given the nature of his recent opponents. However, before all that, he will have to defeat former UFC contender Darren Till in a cruiserweight bout.
