‘The Emperor’ took the intense conflict ahead of the much-awaited showdown that is all set to decide the undisputed champion of four belts on June 5, in Australia.
Kambosos said, “Tank Davis, let’s see with that I’ll see a few issues with Mayweather’s promotional company. Now with Tank and Floyd, so he might start to be thinking to himself, why can’t I get these big fights? Why can’t I get these opportunities?”
Notably, the 28-year-old spartan claimed the biggest upset of the previous year by tearing apart the former unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez and became an overnight hero in the sport of boxing.
Later, ‘Ferocious’ traded insults with WBC lightweight titleholder Devin Haney on social media platforms and eventually ended with the confirmation of a slugfest.

Why did George Kambosos Jr. talked about Gervonta Davis and Floyd Mayweather’s promotion?
The southpaw gun Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis is the biggest name in the lightweight division of modern era boxing. Arguably, even bigger name than Devin Haney.
However, the tensions between ‘Tank’ Davis and Floyd Mayweather‘s promotion are the headline of the current sport. Thus, Kambosos Jr. also added his opinion to it.
According to the Baltimore boxer, his contract with Mayweather Promotions is expiring with the upcoming rumble on 28th May. Therefore, his promoters wanted him to fight another fighter for their promotion.

However, this did not sit well with the undefeated champ, ‘Tank’, so he recently took to Twitter and hammered Mayweather Promotions with harsh remarks ahead of his much-awaited clash against former WBA interim lightweight champion Rolando Romero.
However, Tank deleted the Tweets later, but it was enough to create a buzz that everything was not going well between ‘Tank’ and his promoters.
