Tyson was hosting his ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson‘ podcast with co-host DJ Whoo Kid. Moreover, Tyson’s therapist Sean ‘Seano’ McFarland was the guest for the episode. Tyson was also talking about how he finds it hard to control himself and his anger at times.
This was when Kid asked him about his infamous airplane incident, saying, “People couldn’t believe that you held in so long.”
In response, Tyson said, “That’s nothing. We’re talking about my life. You’re talking about saving my life. We’re talking about being in prison for the rest of my life. We’re talking about life sh*t here ni**a. And so many times I was supposed to go to prison forever. I had more felonies than murderers.”
In fact, he even credited McFarland for keeping him out of prison. Tyson said, “And why am I not in prison? Because of brothers like this. You know what I mean, they allow me to put in the work.”
Additionally, Tyson also mentioned that he owes his life to people like McFarland.
