“Who Knows Where I Would Be if I Had Got That”: Kevin Hart Expresses Frustration Over Losing Bow Wow ‘Entourage’ Role on Logan Paul’s Podcast

The show produced by Mark Wahlberg and loosely based on his life gained quite popularity after realizing which might have been why the comedian was disappointed after not getting a role in the show.

In the podcast, Hart was not shy to express his frustrations over the lost role. According to Hart, he was up for a role on the show that he ended up losing to Bow Wow. The two actors had both auditioned for the same part, with Hart feeling confident. However, he would be disappointed after he saw Bow Wow on the screen but gave props to him for doing justice to the role. This was a little surprising given he took digs at fellow actor Dwayne Johnson in the podcast as well.

“Absolutely every role I f****g lost, I thought it was a major shot. Who knows where I would be if I had got that? I just wanted to be on the fucking show, and this role came up and I was like, Oh my god, I gotta get this,’ and I didn’t get it, and I’ll never forget. I’ve been watching it, and I saw Bow Wow doing the lines. That was good,” he said.

Despite the disappointment, Hart has gone on to have a successful career in the entertainment industry. He has starred in numerous blockbuster films and has become one of the most sought-after comedians in the world. Moreover, it’s clear that missing out on the role didn’t hold him back from achieving his goals.

What role did Bow Wow and Hart compete for?

The two actors competed for the role of Charlie Williams, a stand-up comedian-actor who was looking to break into the industry. Bow Wow played the role for five episodes but had no idea that Hart was also auditioning for it. In the end, Hart would miss out on a role that did describe him well at the time. However, in hindsight, everything has turned out fine for both actors.

This revelation by Hart brings to light the competitive nature of the entertainment industry and the struggles that actors face. Even successful actors like Hart still experience setbacks and disappointments along the way but find ways to persevere and reach greater heights.
