Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is a common name in the combat community. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is one of the most lethal knockout artists in the sport

He was tagged as the best heavyweight until he suffered his maiden professional loss against Tyson Fury in February.

While he remains the most prominent one, his younger brother Marsellos Wilder is also a professional boxer. It isn’t new to the hardcore fans, but Marsellos and Deontay Wilder being brothers is still an uncommon fact to most of the world.

Unlike Deontay Wilder, Marsellos Wilder is new to the professional circuit and is just 7-fights old. Here’s everything you need to know about him.

Deontay Wilder and Marsellos Wilder- Brothers of Destruction

Well, we all know about Deontay Wilder and his treacherous dominance on the heavyweight unit. Meanwhile, Marsellos is a cruiserweight boxer and is far away from the title ride.

Aged 31, the younger Wilder became a professional pugilist in 2018. Before that, he had seven fights in the amateur circuit.

Marsellos’ professional career has been full of highs and lows. The orthodox boxer has a professional resume of 5 wins (2 KOs) and 2 losses (2 KOs).

In his first three fights, Wilder secured two back-to-back KOs against Jalyn Anthony and Ryan Williams, followed by a decision win against David Damore.

He suffered his maiden loss against William Deets, which his brother saw live in 2019. Although he bounced back to the win column with victories against Tyler Vogel and Nicoy Clarke, his latest fight saw him lose to Dustin Long via TKO.
