Who are Callum Smith’s wife and kids?
Callum Smith has been in a long-term relationship with Kimberley Love. So who is Kimberley and what does she do professionally? Unfortunately, her age and career remain under wraps as she’s managed to keep them private. But what we do know is that they had been dating for over a decade. And the couple finally tied the knot on June 1st of last year. And how did they meet? To answer that, a few years back ‘The Mundo’ shared an amusing story about how their relationship started.
He revealed that they met while away on holiday with friends. Moreover, he confessed that when they first met, he didn’t reveal he was a boxer. So what did he say? He told Kimberley that he was an electrician! According to the Express’ report, he said, “I didn’t want to tell her that I was a boxer so told her that I was an electrician.” Even though the truth came out later, making things a bit awkward, he revealed, “We are still very happy together many years later!”
And trust me, they’ve created a beautiful family together. And it seems like his kids are the wind beneath his wings. It was after the birth of his first daughter, that Callum Smith secured a 3rd-round TKO victory over Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam and claimed the WBC Diamond Super Middleweight title at Madison Square Garden, New York. Curious to know about them?

The couple share two beautiful children. The 1st one is a daughter named Alba, born in January 2019. She recently turned 6. The 34-year-old shared heartwarming photos of his daughter on her birthday. He posted pictures of her riding a horse, photos of her learning the piano, swimming, and enjoying time with dolls. If that wasn’t adorable enough, he’s got another little box of pure joy waiting for him.
The 2nd one is a son named River, born in 2021. The little boy recently turned 3. And you know what? It was magical yet again. Later the same year, the 30-2 boxer secured his dominant 2nd-round TKO victory over Gilbert Castillo Rivera. It’s amazing how he’s only gotten better since his son was born. What makes it even more special is how his kids are always at the heart of everything he does. Smith frequently posts family pictures on social media, showing off his close bond with his wife and their kids.
Callum Smith’s Background and Early Life
Callum Smith’s journey to becoming one of the top boxers in the world didn’t happen overnight. Do you know when did it start? It was in 2007 when the Liverpool native started with a victory over Chasia Burton in his amateur bout. And it was only the beginning of everything. In 2010, he won the Great Britain welterweight title. Jump into the next year, and he secured the Great Britain middleweight title. Not just that. The Mundo also has competed for GB Boxing on the international stage. Callum Smith’s silver medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games was a proud moment, even though he was defeated in the final by Northern Irish boxer Paddy Gallagher.
Two years later, he missed out at the London Olympics due to a close loss in the final Olympic Qualification Tournament. So what did he do next? Instead of dwelling on disappointment, he dusted himself off and leaped into the professional ranks later that year. And boy, did he make an impact.

He remained undefeated until December 2020. It was when he faced the Mexican champion Canelo Álvarez, that he suffered his first career loss. Despite this crushing setback, Smith bounced back strong in 2021, with notable victories, over Gilbert Castillo Rivera, and a fourth-round knockout against Mathieu Bauderlique.
However, the road hasn’t been without its bumps. In January 2024, Callum Smith faced Artur Beterbiev for the IBF, WBC, and WBO World Light Heavyweight titles but came up short in the fight. Determined to get back on track, Smith found redemption later that year, knocking out Carlos Galvan in the fifth round.
Now, as ‘The Mundo’ prepares for his upcoming clash with the 19-0 boxer, the stakes are higher than ever. If the 30-2, 22 KO emerges victorious in this bout, he could position himself for a potential world title shot. A win would not only solidify his legacy in the boxing world but also provide a major boost to his confidence and momentum moving forward.
