Caleb Truax, the former IBF super-middleweight champion, is one of the most reputed 168-pounders from the active roster. With a 31-4-2 professional record, Truax is already an elite. However, he hasn’t been a world champion for long, and at 37, he is running out of time.

Truax has been an athlete since his high school days and has played football and baseball for his school and college teams. But, he found his passion for the ‘sweet science’ later and evolved to become one of the best in the business.

Following an amateur record of 21 wins alongside 7 losses, Caleb ‘Golden’ Truax turned professional in 2007. Since then, it has been a glorious ride for him. Truax went undefeated for the first 19 fights in his career and had alarmed the sport with his dominance. His first loss came against Jermaine Taylor in 2012. Subsequently, he won his next eight fights.
In 2017, he finally became the IBF super-middleweight champion by beating James DeGala. Unfortunately, he lost the belt in the rematch in 2018. He revived himself with 2 more wins later and is on the brink of putting his hands on the IBF belt again. This time, Caleb Plant is in front of him and Truax can shock the world by overpowering ‘Sweet Hands’.

Apart from being a boxer, Truax is an absolute family man but keeps his personal life away from media attention. He is a father to two kids with his partner, Michelle Stock.
