Devin Haney is backing up his contemporary Ryan Garcia to emerge out victorious against Luke Campbell in their upcoming encounter.
While Haney considers Campbell to be a recognized lightweight, he also believes that Garcia will vanquish him comfortably. Now, it will naturally bring back the inevitable comparison between Haney and Garcia, especially when they are touted to fight shortly.

However, for the timing, Ryan Garcia needs to focus on Luke Campbell, citing a lightweight thriller on the charts. It is also a piece of good news for the ‘Golden Boy’ that Haney has his belief in him prior to the fight.
Devin Haney doesn’t see Luke Campbell defeating Ryan Garcia
‘The Dream’ connected with Fight Hype to address several scenarios of the boxing community. It is no surprise that he was asked to give an opinion on the ‘Garcia vs Campbell’ fight.
While umpteen fans have favored Campbell over Garcia, Haney doesn’t see that happening. Instead, he believes that Garcia will retain his undefeated record as his right hand will be way too rapid for the ‘Cool Hand’.
“I think Campbell has the experience, and you know you cannot say he is a pushover, he is not a pushover. But for some reason I see Ryan beating him fairly easy.
“I really do. I see that happening. A lot of people may disagree but you know, I have known Ryan for a while and I just feel that Ryan’s right hand is going to beat him easy,” said Haney.
He further said that Campbell has been credited more than he has achieved. Well, it might sound absurd for the boxing fans, since Luke Campbell is one of the most dangerous lightweights of this era.
The 32-year-old is 20-3 in pro boxing, with a huge fanbase all over the world. However, it seems that he still hasn’t accomplished enough to earn Devin Haney’s respect.
“I think he (Campbell) is given too much credit for. Every big fight that he has stepped up to, he lost. Who has he beaten? ”
‘The Dream’ might chase down ‘The Golden Boy’ shortly
If Garcia beats Campbell, he will either face Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis or Devin ‘The Dream’ Haney. The undefeated lightweights have been compared with each other throughout their respective careers.
