In a recent interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game, ‘Sugar’ discussed multiple things, including his supposed fight with Haney. So, one such discussion was about Gervonta Davis. Stevenson expressed his wish to fight Davis. Davis, however, has avoided defensive fighters like Stevenson before.  Stevenson admits he’s not a pay-per-view draw like Davis. If he can’t get a fight with Davis, Stevenson considers moving to the 140-pound division, like Devin Haney.

Thus, when the interviewer asked him, “What’s stopping that fight?(you vs Tank)”  Stevenson replied by saying, “I don’t know, I can’t tell you. I’m not Tank. He’s the big PPV star. Who am I to throw offers to the biggest star in boxing? That will have to be on their part to wanna do that(to send an offer). I would love that fight, I think that’s the best fight in boxing and I wanna prove to the world who I truly am”
