The 80 million records selling artist, with his name engraved as one of the best-selling music artists of all time, Usher is not stopping for anything. The American singer has proved that he can still drag numerous fans to his concert. The ‘King of R&B’ is well-known to deliver a fun time for his fans, even Floyd Mayweather‘s daughter was spotted at one of his concerts. But at the recent Las Vegas residency, a controversy brewed up as the video went viral where Usher was seen serenading ‘Nope’ actress, Keke Palmer at his concert. Well, this wasn’t taken in a positive light by her boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
Well, more than the clip, her boyfriend’s tweet garnered attention from the fans, and everybody was quite quick to berate the fitness instructor in the comments section. Jackson couldn’t take the barrage of criticism about him publicly shaming his wife, so he tried to clear his stance with another tweet. Well, he’s deactivated his account now and is taking some time off social media.
But amid this drama, the three-division boxing champion, Claressa Shields has given her two cents on the matter where she has pointed out the main problem with Jackson’s statement.

Claressa Shields talks about Jackson’s tweet & the ongoing Keke Palmer drama
In Jackson’s latter tweet, he explained that he only took a stand for his family. He criticized the current generation for thrashing him down and stating his truth. He was being protective of Keke, the mother of his kids. He stated that he’s quite adamant about his principles and morals, and ended with the powerful words, “I rest my case.” The screenshot of this tweet was posted by Daily Loud on their handle.
Claressa Shields stumbled upon this tweet and handpicked the problem with Jackson’s response. She mentioned that his girlfriend is a public figure, and he needs to respect that. So, he should’ve talked about it with his girlfriend personally rather than taking it up on social media. She agreed with him on that, “Nothing wrong with his preference! Like he said his relationship, his family!”
See ……. This a public figure, her man should take that up with her, not post it on social media. Now nothing wrong with his preference! Like he said his relationship, his family! But he went about it wrong! https://t.co/iSPDMbefP5
