Boxing fans have questioned the heavyweight division for its failure to provide thrilling matchups. With the top dogs of the heavyweight division not willing to face each other for some reason or the other, the division is in need of an exciting clash. Currently, Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr are one of the most talked about matchups in the sport. Hopefully, the war of words between the two fighters leads to positive negotiation talks. After all, what happens behind closed doors determines whether the fight will be finalized or not. For now, the two heavyweights are not backing down from taking shots at each other to help fuel the passion for their supposed bout.

Deontay Wilder recently took to his Instagram to respond back to Ruiz Jr who made bold claims about the potential fight between the two. And, it seems like those remarks did not sit well with Wilder who was not hesitant to give the Mexican a sneak peek of what will be waiting for him when he steps inside the boxing ring.

Wilder believes its time to “put it all together”

This whole verbal spat between the two has been going on for a long time. And many fans await these two to confirm their fight. Recently Ruiz Jr shared a video on his Instagram, firing shots at Wilder for calling him out over attempting to increase his share of the payout in the fight. Moreover, the former unified champion vowed to “humble” the ‘bronze bomber.’

Responding to Ruiz’s comments, Wilder shared a video on Instagram. He said, “Big boy, we all have to go back and forth for all this talk. I didn’t call you. You’ll called us. We was not in desperate need of a fight. You guys were in desperate need of a fight.”

The 37-year-old made it clear that his side did not need a fight. Rather, it was Ruiz Jr’s team who called him for the fight.

Furthermore, Wilder added, “And it’s time to put it all together. Who acting scared it ain’t me. Let’s face it am reasonable. So till when you’re serious holler at me. I’ll wait till then. Do what you do, bro. You got a lot of ways to lose.”

Wilder ended his message with a popular saying, “you can talk that talk. But, only a few can walk that walk.”

Wilder has made it clear that he is not fooling around when it comes to fighting. And even revealed that he is not the one who needed this fight in the first place. It seems like Wilder is waiting for the green light. And, he is ready to unleash his boxing prowess as he has been training hard, irrespective of the upcoming fights or not.
