It seems that the hardcore boxing fans’ wish to see the mighty Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant fight has finally come true. The undisputed super-middleweight bout between these two stalwarts is set to take place in a massive setting. Earlier, the two teams got in touch, but they couldn’t finalize a deal.

However, looking at the hype and attention this fight carries, they resumed the fight talks, and now, it is finally on. But when is this fight taking place? Will it be a one-fight deal or a two-fight signing?

Michael Benson took it to Twitter to detail some important highlights of this fight. This contest will now come to life on November 6th in Las Vegas for all the 168-pound straps.

Further, the renowned boxing journalist, Dan Rafael, detailed the important parts of this fight contract on his Twitter handle. He wrote, As it relates to #CaneloPlant, per source with knowledge of the deal, it is a one-fight agreement with PBC, no options. Canelo is a free agent after the bout,  although he has a rematch clause should Plant pull the upset.”

The fans have waited for this fight ever since Canelo destroyed Billy Joe Saunders in May 2021. Everyone seemed optimistic to see the undisputed title fight come to life by September.

However, now, as the two fighters and their teams are now in total sync, they’ll immediately look to kick off their campaigns for the November fight.
