The former unified welterweight champion of the world, Keith Thurman, spoke about the Caleb Plant vs Canelo Alvarez fight. Keith Thurman is an American, so naturally, he will be rooting for his compatriot.
He made it clear in the chat with FightHype where he spoke about Canelo Alvarez’s power, “We know, Canelo and whatever pork he been eating, the boy is strong! You know what I’m saying, the boy is strong, and we know Plant ain’t been with nobody that strong. I think it’s a great fight.”

Keith Thurman then spoke about how Floyd Mayweather exposed Canelo Alvarez. He claimed that Canelo learned how to move only after his fight against Mayweather. The Mexican has yet to lose a fight since Mayweather snapped his undefeated streak.
“Some people say he got a little exposed. Because he’s got his movement now, he know how to step back now. It’s not in a lot of Mexican fighters’ protocol, that nice little step back. Mayweather taught him a few things.”
Keith Thurman last fought back in 2019, in his loss to Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao. However, he has been relatively low profile and hasn’t been in discussions for a fight.
